PREPARING FOR YOUR INJECTION

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Set everything out – bottle, alcohol wipe, syringe with needle attached.

FILLING THE SYRINGE

Thoroughly clean the rubber stopper of the bottle with an alcohol wipe. Allow the rubber stopper to dry completely. Carefully remove the orange cap covering the syringe needle. Turn the bottle upside down. Insert the needle through the rubber stopper. Pull back on the syringe plunger. Fill the syringe to 0.2 mis (20 units on the syringe) DO NOT EXCEED THIS DOSE. Flick the syringe to remove any air bubbles. Turn the bottle upright and remove the needle. Do not let the syringe needle touch anything so that it remains un-contaminated. REMEMBER to replace the NAD+ bottle in the fridge.

HOW TO SAFELY INJECT YOUR NAD+

You should inject the nRo+ into the tissue just below your skin on Your abdomen (but not into your navel). Any area of the thighs. TIP! Alternate the injection site each time.

Directions: Wipe the injection site with the alcohol wipe. Gently pinch your skin with your non-dominant hand. Hold the syringe in your dominant hand and push the needle through the skin. Rim for a 10 degree angle and insert most of the needle. Once through the skin, slowly push the plunger and empty the syringe. Remove the needle and rub / massage the injection. Put the needle/ syringe in a hard plastic re-sealable container (‘Sharps’ bin). If you bleed this means you have broken a small blood vessel under the skin. Press gently on the site with a clean tissue until the bleed stops. Cover the injection site with a small plaster if needed. Don’t worry if a small bruise shows.
